At the same time, declining trust in traditional social media and the rise of generative AI make authenticity and genuine human interaction more important than ever. I see the strongest growth in privacy-first, contextual and programmatic native solutions, combined with premium publisher partnerships that ensure brand safety and credibility beyond “Made for Advertising” environments. Interactive, mobile-first formats and gamified storytelling will further increase engagement, while native advertising will continue to expand across the full marketing funnel, as brands recognize its ability to deliver both relevance and measurable impact.
Signature Work Achievements
One of my key signature achievements was leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive Service Level framework for Axel Springer Brand Studios, initiated from the need for more structured and economically sustainable client management in in-house designed native and cross-media campaigns. The project defined differentiated service tiers, standardized processes, clear feedback loops and reporting structures across advertorials, branded content formats and cross-channel concepts. By aligning content creation, optimization, communication and performance reporting within clearly scoped service packages, we significantly increased transparency, efficiency and scalability in client servicing. The framework is now being integrated into the broader AI transformation strategy of Media Impact, serving as a foundation for a more differentiated, data-driven sales and client support model across the entire marketing organization.
Career Lessons
My key advice for women in branded content is to truly listen to your clients and understand their real business needs — strong partnerships are built on empathy and clarity, not assumptions. Embrace the diversity of strengths within your team — whether creative, highly structured, or commercially driven — and use them strategically rather than trying to do everything alone. And most importantly: stand up for your convictions, learn openly from mistakes, and know that career and family are compatible with the right support system, focus, and resilience — there will be trade-offs, but there will also be meaningful rewards.
